Service Description
Adult/Teen Ballet technique class levels 1-3 cover the foundational elements of classical ballet. This combined level 2 & 3 class is suitable for advanced beginners, intermediate dancers, and individuals with a background in other forms of dance; as well as athletes whose sport includes artistic dance elements (ex: synchronized swimming). Registration is by class (drop-in style), however students are encouraged to attend regularly as teaching is progressive and aligned with student improvement. Students younger than 16 may register on a case by case basis. Please contact the studio for more information. Advanced beginner students (level 2) continue to learn class etiquette, class progression, and movement vocabulary; while Intermediate students (level 3) expand their understanding of the fundamentals and build confidence in areas of artistry and expression. Dancers from other disciplines, and athletes who’s sport includes artistic dance elements benefit from learning and exploring new movement patterns. All students will be challenged to increase their understanding of musicality, build strength and improve coordination. Studio Pas de Chat teaches Vaganova based ballet technique. The focus of technique classes is on knowledge transfer from teacher to student.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, reschedule, and refund policy: You may cancel or reschedule up to 24hrs before to the start of the class. Classes that you cancel within the cancellation window (time of booking up to 24 hrs before the start of class) will be refunded. No refunds for late cancellations (under 24 hrs before the start of class). We do not pro-rate for arriving late or leaving early. Liability waiver: There are specific risks of physical, psychological, and/or property damages, losses, and/or injury and/or illness that may result from participation in dance classes. By registering for this class you agree to voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation and will not hold Studio Pas de Chat, it's teachers, staff or volunteers responsible.
