Payments & Policies

Drop-in classes: You may cancel or rescheduled up to 24hrs before to the start of the class. Classes cancelled within the cancellation window (time of booking up to 24 hrs before the start of class) will be refunded. There are no refunds for late cancellations (under 24 hrs before the start of class). There are no refunds for student no-shows. 

Tuition based classes: Tuition is due one week before a new session starts. Monthly payment plans may be requested. Students on monthly payment plans must commit to attending the full session of classes. A $10.00 late fee will be charged each week tuition is overdue. Students will not be let into class for their lesson if tuition has not been received by the end of the 1st week of the session.

Tuition refunds: There are no refunds on tuition after the 2nd class. Exceptional circumstance will be considered on a case by case basis. Any approved refunds will be pro-rated. ​There are no refunds for missed classes.​

Private Lessons: Payment is due on the day of the lesson. Late payments are subject to a $5 late fee every 2 days they are overdue. When in person private lessons necessitate a studio rental, the student is responsible for the rental fee; to be paid to the rental studio directly.

Private lesson refunds: Private lessons are not eligible for refunds.

Private lesson cancellation policy:  Private lessons must be cancelled within 24hrs to avoid being charged a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged for the full lesson along with a $25 no-show fee.

Injury policy: Students who choose to take class with a pre-existing injury should alert the teacher prior to the start of class and take responsibility for non-disruptive self-care as needed. Private lesson students should contact the studio to discuss their situation.

Sick policy: We request that you stay home if you are sickStudents who will miss a tuition based class due to illness should alert the studio to inquire about make-up classes. Students who have booked an in-person private lesson should reschedule their lesson. 

Dress code: Studio Pas de Chat does not have a specific dress code. However, it is expected that students dress respectfully; wearing clothing that is both supportive and acceptable for movement. This includes but is not limited to leotards, tights, leggings, dance skirts, leg warmers, unitards, tee-shirts, dance warmup wear, and athletic active wear. Hair should be pulled away from the face and neck.

Code of Conduct: Violation of the code of conduct may lead to expulsion from the school.​​

  • Practice honesty and integrity, kindness, empathy, and inclusion

  • Respect ​the decisions of teachers, volunteers, and staff of Studio Pas de Chat

  • Bullying and harassment of any kind, in person or online is prohibited

  • Dancers must not post photos or videos that other students appear in to public facing social media accounts without that students permission​​

 

Privacy policy:​ We receive, collect and store information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way for the following purposes:

 

  1. To provide and operate services

  2. To provide users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact visitors and users with general or personalized service-related notices and messages;

  4. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Studio Pas de Chat is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
